The filming stage for the fourth season of "Beauty and the Beast" has finally wrapped up and the cast and crew prepare for the last curtain of the series. Jay Ryan and Austin Basis took to Twitter and shared their sentiments on the series' final season.
A post from Spoiler TV showed Jay Ryan and Austin Basis posting their messages on their Twitter accounts. Ryan, on his Twitter account @JayRyan, tweeted "That's a wrap! Au Revoir! #Montreal #BATB", while Basis, on his Twitter account @AustinBasis, tweeted "That's a SERIES wrap 4 JT @cwbatb- It's bittersweet saying goodbye 2 this character. I'll miss him. Onward&Upward". Tactical film consul, with the Twitter account @tacfilms, shared a picture with a caption "#BATB @cwbatb wrapped, pic with our 1st AD Season Watson, great guy to work with. True pro". The filming of the last season was in Canada.
Meanwhile, the fourth season will have 13 episodes and will premiere sometime in summer. In a report from Latin Post, The CW's president Mark Pedowitz previously announced that "Beauty and the Beast" will be moved to a summer release. He added that one of the stated goals for the network was to have year-round programming and that having the series "gives us some scripted programming for summer".
Ending the show may be a sad moment for "Beauty and the Beast". However, according to Cartermatt, the timing of the show's fond farewell is that it is happening in a way that allows them to pursue other work in television quickly if they so choose. They can have time to either get a recurring gig on another show or hit the pilot season circuit for upcoming seasons.
There are no official updates yet on the storyline for the fourth installment of "Beauty and the Beast" or how the series is going to end.
