Following the announcement of a sequel to Marvel's Ant-Man, the casting process for the "Ant-Man and the Wasp" are slowly being completed. The director's chair has also been filled out.

The Collider reported that Michael Douglas is in negotiations for the studio's proposition about reprising his role. In the first movie, Douglas was featured as Hank Pym. The actor revealed that the studio has called him to talk about the project, commending the cast and the director from the first film.

"I just got a call recently - they want to negotiate for a sequel and I thought 'That's great!' Hopefully, I won't have to carry quite as much expositional dialogue as the first one but I had a wonderful time doing it," he said.

According to the actor, he would be much grabbing the opportunity to be once again part of the "good" movie. Moreover, he confirmed that the movie will be scheduled not until 2018. "It was a lovely experience, so you know, I welcome it. I chuckle about being involved with a movie that already has a release date in 2018," he said.

Furthermore, it was recently reported on Yahoo Movie that the filmmaker Peyton Reed has been in talks with the studio. In the mid-2014, Reed took over the original movie after the first director, Edgar Wright, left. Reed, however, will be helming from the beginning of the production unlike the first movie which he patched up after the movie nears the final production.

In an article on We Got This Covered, The Wasp was recently reported to have its debut in Captain America: Civil War before it appears in the "Ant-Man and The Wasp" movie. However, Feige announced that they removed her appearance simply because they don't want to include a character without the importance and connection of the character with the story.

As for now, the movie details are still being kept under wraps. Hence, the audiences are excited to witness how The Wasp will randomly appear in the "Ant-Man and The Wasp" movie.
