Apple is manufacturing its new flagship, the iPhone 7, which is said to come out early next year. The company filed patents at United States Patent and Trademark Office where it revealed the new device's specs and features. These patents have a great chance to be included in the new device, as published reports say.

Apple is working with the new phone's waterproof design, IB Times reported. The patent that the company filed is entitled, "LIQUID EXPULSION FROM AN ORIFICE." As such, enthusiasts would expect that the external design of the new iPhone would come differently. Cavities, holes, and grilles like the speakers and microphone need to be totally sealed.

Related report also cited another patent that Apple filed, which has a possibility to be part of the new device. This is the use of electrical charges that can propel liquids coming inside and through the iPhone's speaker and microphone ports.

Know Your Mobile mentioned that the new device is expected to come with a 4.7 inch and 5.5 inch display in 3D Touch. It is also believed that iPhone 7 will come with a thinner body and bezel. Its internal storage will also come in 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB. The report added that the new device will be equipped with an A10 processor with 3GB RAM. Its camera will be 5MP front with wide angle lens and 12MP rear. More so, the new device will come with a 4K video recording and optical image stabilization.

Further, The Week noted other interesting specs of the upcoming Apple handset. These include a no home button, wireless charging, and panic button. The report also added that iPhone 7 will come with OLED screen and Sapphire screen. Though, the new handset's battery life is still under improvement, according to the report.

Meanwhile, enthusiasts need to wait for the official announcement of the release date. Further, Apple did not provide any details on the exact specs and features of iPhone 7.
