Following the collection's October release, Sony and Bluepoint Games have recently released a new patch update for its Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection v 1.02. Accordingly, the patch update should be able to improve the installment's gameplay.
The game did not have major issues and glitches. However, the patch simply intended to improve the gameplay experience and offer a smoother flow of the game. And since the game does not include online multiplayer mode, many patches would not be necessary. The new patch update, v 1.02, has a 1 GB memory which contained several adjustments and improvements. Attack of the Fanboy reports that the update included adjustments in trophy requirements, adjustment in forward move sensors, improvement in packaging management, improvements in various visuals, improvements in stability, updated credits, and an additional Photo Mode.
According to the updated version's review by Gamespresso, the patch enhanced three of the best action adventure games on one convenient disk. It could easily be noted on how the graphics were improved and the less enjoyable game mechanics removed, such as the motion control. Furthermore, it was revealed that the update included a suite of speed-run tools and the new hardest and easiest options for difficulty levels. In conclusion, the site commented that the Uncharted franchise is part of what has made PS3 gaming experiences great.
Uncharted: the Nathan Drake Collection is a combination of the three blockbuster Nathan Drake adventures for PS3. The pack included Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. The game, however, only featured a single player campaign and all run at 1880p/60FPS as Gamepur reported. The patch also presented better lighting, textures, and models.
Sony and Bluepoint Games' Uncharted: The Nathan Drake collection is now available for PS3 and PS4. PS4 offers a 500GB Uncharted Bundle which includes the physical copy of the game along with the console. A v 1.02 patch is also available for an improved and smoother gameplay.
