It has been busy lately for the cast and crew of Peaky Blinders as they have started shooting for season three and they have moved in Liverpool to shoot some scenes in school. Meanwhile, Tom Hardy takes a break from filming to support his good friend Jack McGann.
According to Echo, the series' crew has moved in to the Blue Coat School in Wavertree for for the next three days to film scenes for the third season of the gritty gangster series. They have shot some scenes in Liverpool for both seasons one and two in order to recreate some historical scenes. Their locations included Stanley Dock, Powis Street and Rodney Street. This time, they moved to Church Road to shoot some scenes at Blue Coat's Grade II listed building. They will also do some filming in the school's conference center and the octagonal domed chapel.
Shooting for season three has started last October and lead star Cillian Murphy has dubbed the third series installment as "the strongest it's ever been, it's off the charts", according to Independent. Murphy's character role as Tommy Shelby will be "pulled into the glamorous and dangerous world of international intrigue in 1920s Britain" that will make him question everything about his own ambitions and desires. It is in this season that he will put his family and organization at risk.
Meanwhile, Tom Hardy is set to take a short break from filming Peaky Blinders to give support to his good friend, British MMA fighter Jack McGann.
In a post by Daily Mail, Hardy and co-star Jack Anderson, sent a video message to 22 year-old McGann on the set of Peaky Blinders. McGann will be fighting against Frenchman Damien Lapilus at BAMMA 23 in Birmingham's Barclaycard Arena.
In the video message, Hardy tells McGann that "it's important that you feel supported by the ones who love you and we'll support. We want to send you a massive amount of love and lots of support. We just want to say we love you to pieces."
The hit gangster series Peaky Blinders are set to air next spring.
