'Now You See Me: The Second Act' will be back with its new characters and old casts to grace the big screen. Daniel Radcliffe will be joining the gang but not as a hero but as a villain himself. He will be assuming the role of Arthur Tressler's son that will make the lives of Four Horsemen harder than it already seems. Also with Daniel Radcliffe are Lizzy Caplan and Jay Chou that will assume new roles in the movie.
Some characters that will reprise with their roles are Jesse Eisenberg, Dave Franco, Woody Harrelson, Mark Ruffalo, Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman. The second movie is slated for release on cinemas on June 10, 2016.
'Now You See Me: The Second Act' just like the first movie will be filled with theatrics, flashy and vibrant colors, magic and never before seen acts that will showcase the Four Horsemen. The Four Horsemen is composed of Jesse Eisenberg as J. Daniel "Danny" Atlas, Woody Harrelson as Merritt McKinney and Dave Franco as Jack Wilder but unfortunately, fans of Isla Fisher who plays as Henley Reeves will not see her anymore in the movie, Collider states.
Mark Ruffalo as Dylan Rhodes is back as well as Morgan Freeman as Thaddeus Bradley who is an ex - magician. Michael Caine is also back as Arthur Tressler, who used to sponsor the Four Horsemen and an insurance tycoon who was imprisoned for the heist that the gang revealed on the previous movie.
Though avid fans of the movie will be disappointed that Isla Fisher won't be around, worry no more for new characters will be making the movie more exciting and thrilling with Daniel Radcliffe, Lizzy Caplan and Jay Chou, Screen Rant reveals. Daniel Radcliffe, well known in his role as Harry Potter will be playing as Walter Tressler who will avenge his father for his imprisonment. This is a surprise since fans are used to Daniel Radcliffe as the protagonist himself, being the antagonist this time will surely make the audience excited for everything that will transpire in the movie.
Lizzy Caplan, known in the movie The Interview will play as Lula, the new addition to the Four Horsemen since they will be lacking a female lead for the movie. While Jay Chou, a Taiwanese actor who also starred in The Green Hornet will play as Li, whose role in the movie, be it a villain or one of the heroes is yet to be determined.
The much awaited movie is slated to grace the big screen on the 10th of June 2016 according to Variety. Fans are expecting the movie to exceed everybody's expectation since the first movie was a big hit and if this so happens, who knows, if there will be a third movie on the works.
'Now You See Me: The Second Act' will be directed by Jon M. Chu and will be produced by Bobby Cohen, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci. A movie that will make the audience ask for more magic and surely, more movies to come after this.
