Motorola Moto MAXX is set to upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow software as already confirmed in various reports. The device will get a slew of new features and improvements particularly in battery management, user interface and web experience.
Android 6.0 Marshmallow upgrade is officially rolling out to Motorola Moto MAXX devices this year. According to David Schuster of Motorola, the upgrade will come after full deployment begins to Moto X Pure Edition and Moto X (2014) in Brazil and India "in the next few weeks."
Despite reports that newer models of the tech giant will get first the software, Moto MAXX units will get the upgrade as soon as pioneers, Moto X Pure Edition and Moto X (2014), get it. Other Motorola devices heading to the upgrade include Moto X Style, Moto X Play, Moto G (2015), Moto G (2014), Moto G (2014) with LTE, DROID Turbo, DROID Turbo 2 and Moto Turbo, among others.

Standby time of device expands extensively with Doze Mode, a new power saving feature. Doze works through a motion sensor to detect the movements of the device and place battery consumption accordingly. It monitors also the activities of software and apps to and puts device to sleep when idle. This feature also helps charge device faster depending on its position in place.
Direct share is another impressive feature of the software. With it, device can share link, from Play Store, map location, etc. by pressing only the share button without doing too many clicks.
