Game developer Psyonix has announced the release of its new Chaos Run DLC for the vehicle football game, Rocket League. The DLC is scheduled to be released next month for 3.99 USD. However, the DLC also includes some items and updates for free.
The Chaos Run patch, as reported by Latin Post, includes new cars and a lot more of updates and freebies. First in the list are two new battle cars, the Ripper and the Grog, with six new decals for each new vehicle. The downloadable content also includes two new paint jobs: Camo and Sun-Damaged, two new rocket trails: Sandstorm and Nuts & Bolts, three new antennas: Bomb Pole, Radioactive sign, and Retro Ball, three new toppers: Boombox, Cow Skull, and Mohawk. In addition, five new trophies will also be included.
Moreover, a new expansive arena shall also be included for free. Tagged as the Wasteland, it is by far the widest arena to be featured by the franchise. This apocalyptic themed arena is the first non-regulation pitch to arrive for the physics based vehicle soccer video game. According to Vine Report, the arena features a dissimilar Boost placement with a sloped perimeter to give players a new feel.
The game, as commented by Tech Times, provides a dose of Man Max style elvel in terms of design, items, and its apocalyptic theme. The game is announced to be released in December, the same time as Sony's PlayStation Experience. Other freebies that come with the DLC include music by Kevin Riepel and a bunch of still unnamed items in the garage.
Rocket League's Chaos Run DLC by Psyonic is scheduled to be released in December for PS4 and PC platforms. The downloadable content is available for 3.99 USD while the Wasteland arena and other items yet to be named can be availed for free.
