MTV's tv series, "Faking It", is slated to permiere in Fall 2016 and prior to Season 3 premire, the executive producer takes on a casting call for transgender actors and actresses in the cast. He also spilled a lot of details about what is going to happen in season 3. Meanwhile, a lead actress talked about the kiss.
Covington made an official statement that "Faking It" Season 3 will be tackling about the transgender community while he also teased some details for the upcoming season. Actress Rita Volk has also shared details about the Karmy kiss.
The showrunner has announced that he is looking for a transgender cast member for the latest installment of the series.He stated, "I would like to support the trans community and to represent the trans community more in the show. Unfortunately there's a lack of trans actors and actresses in Hollywood just as there's a lack of roles for them. I'm excited - I think it's time to change that. We are trying to get trans actors and actresses on our radar so we can include them in telling their stories," as noted by Spectrum Suntimes.
Moreover, Covington revealed that Amy (Rita Volk) and Karma (Katie Stevens) would explore the aftermath of their kiss. The executive producer further stated that there will be new love interests in "Faking It" Season 3. With that being said, he also hinted that Amy will be finding someone new to move on from her failed relationship with Karma, Entertainment Weekly reports.
Regarding the Karmy kiss, Volk has shared her opinion with Hollywood Life where she stated that there is going to be some feeling of resentment in Karma's side. The 25-year-old Uzbek American actress teased that the 3rd season will feature what's going to happen next in Rita and Karma's lives.
