After the controversial issue involving his son Josh Duggar, Jim Bob Duggar recently posted an open letter to the Duggar family website. It is a letter offering advice to all the other fathers out there in the world.
Jim Bob Duggar recently made an open letter offering advice to all the fathers on how to be a spiritual leader and being a coach in their own home. The "19 Kids and Counting" star shared how they looked up to God in his relationship with his wife and the upbringing of their children. According to Entertainment Tonight, he initially shared how he and his wife Michelle had a miscarriage due to the use of birth control. Since then, they have prayed and looked up to God, and promised how they would no longer reject God's gift to them.
The letter came after some members of the Duggar family had sent letters of encouragement and forgiveness to their eldest son, Josh Duggar after his controversial scandal of being unfaithful to his wife and molesting five minor girls, including some of his sisters when he was a teenager. US Magazine reported that Josh has checked into a rehabilitation center three months ago for his pornographic addiction. Just last week, Jim Bob along with three others paid a visit to Josh at the rehab.
According to Inquistr, another part of the letter was Jim Bob saying how fathers in the homes should start protecting their families by removing books, magazines, television, or the internet that have a worldly and sensual content. He suggests having them replaced with other things that are good, including wholesome music, biographies of great Christians and the like. He did not directly say that the letter was referring of his own son and the scandal that he has been going through right now.
Jim Bob Duggar and his wife simply refer to Josh's scandal as a bad mistake, and have found it in their hearts to forgive him for his actions. Thus, this explains Jim Bob's open letter to all the other fathers out there.
