'19 kids and Counting' star Josh Duggar is sued by adult film actress and model Danica Dillon, who claims that Duggar beaten her to the point of causing physical and emotional injuries while they were having consensual sex after Duggar propositioned her in a Philadelphia strip club in March.
Dillon, with real name Ashley Stamm-Northup, is pursuing $500,000 for intentional battery. In Touch posted the legal documents relating to the lawsuit. Dillon says she was a featured performer at The Gold Club in Philadelphia where Duggar seemingly paid her about $600 for lap dances. Afterwards, Dillon claims Duggar invited her to his hotel room, where they agreed to have sex. Then, Duggar allegedly manhandled her to the point that Dillon felt as if she was being raped. Duggar paid $1,500 for Dillon's company.
Dillon said Duggar tried to apologize the next month when she was dancing at another venue but claimed he actually just wanted to deceive her into meeting with him privately, when he allegedly assaulted her again.
Duggar, who has four children and worked as a lobbyist for the conservative Christian group the Family Research Council, has been out of the spotlight since August, when he checked into Reformers Unanimous, a long-term faith-based rehab program. People reports that the rehab trip followed his involvement in the Ashley Madison hacking scandal, which identified him as a paying customer.
Duggar confessed to his wife Anna that he is using the adultery website via the Duggar family's website. He eventually called himself the biggest hypocrite ever.
In September, Dillon spoke out against Duggar during an interview with Entertainment Tonight, though she accepted that she never told Duggar "no" and agreed to have sex.
Marc J. Frumer, Dillon's attorney, told sources that he considers the case to be resolved in nine to 18 months, although he notes the discovery process may be delayed because Duggar is in rehab and may not have a lawyer yet.
