Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain November Patch Detailed; Kingdom of the Flies to Become DLC?

By

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has automatically established itself as one of the most anticipated games that the year has laid eyes on. That being said, there are some parts of the franchise's plot which are somewhat being questioned, especially those which may play a vital role in the future.

According to Express, Hideo Kojima was recently noted to have parted ways from Konami, and this may seem as tragic news to fans that have followed the series for many years in the past. When asked of what the possible future of the game will be, Kojima simply put that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain may indeed experience a continuity, which may include the return of an important character, as the fans have requested.

Recent leaks, as reported by Parent Herald, will be witnessed within November, as patches are to be made to the installment. One assessment stated that once the valuable female sniper Quiet disappears from the squad after completing mission 45, she will re-emerge if a gamer plays the Cloaked in Silence mission eight times. From there, Quiet intriguingly comes back to join the Diamond Dogs.

Some other November patch updates included the Anti-Reflex Research being added as a Medical Team Unit function, the effectiveness of the Stealth Mode in FOB infiltrations, and as important to some, a rather expanded rookie and beginner functionality. New Weapons, items and level of gear will also be included in the update.

Gaming Bolt delivered that as important as game play features are, the story of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is what hits the fancy of most gamers. One questionable feat that the fans have looked deeply into would the Kingdom of the Flies episode, which has stirred quite a vast controversy to many, especially those who are expecting it to be cordially a part of the series. Kojima declared that it may not benefit the story of the game in any way, and as speculation, fans believe that it may be a downloadable content update in the near future.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom pain harvested massive success over the past months, and with so much expectation being carried over its shoulders, Konami may have to formulate more ways in making the title better from this point forward. Stay tuned for more updates on the Metal Gear Solid series.
