While Thor is expected to be seen in some other Marvel films, Chris Hemsworth is also preparing for the "Thor: Ragnarok" movie. Although the studio has been silent with the details and development of the upcoming project, Hemsworth commented on his new project.
In an interview with the Cinema Blend, Hemsworth revealed that the "Thor: Ragnarok" movie might have a "sort of smart wit and unexpected kind of humor" which he thought would be like James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy movies. This time, the actor wants to try something different and cool as he quoted it with a dash of some funny ideas.
"I feel we had less of the sort of the naivety or fun or humor that the first [Thor] might have had. I wish we had more of that in the second [movie] ... We've done regal. We've done Shakespeare, and we've shown that. I think now it's time to go, 'Ok, cool. Let's try something different,'" he said.
While the "Thor: Ragnarok" movie details are being kept under wraps, Den of Geek reported that what Hemsworth's idea of humor would be possible. It was recently reported that Taika Waititi has now taken over the director's chair. With the new filmmaker on board, the upcoming project might possibly be embracing the world of comedy into his latest movie.
Thor will also be seen in the upcoming Captain America: Civil War before he flies for his new solo film. News says he will be with Spider-Man. Just recently, NY Daily News noted that Hemsworth commended Tom Holland during an interview for their latest movie, "In the Heart of the Sea" where he will be casting with Holland as the new Spider-Man.
Furthermore, Hemsworth has revealed that the new director has had already planned how the story would pick off and how they could make it possible. But with all the wars going on in the MCU, the fans might as well expect some reasonably dark scenes in the "Thor: Ragnarok" movie.
