Squadron 42 of Star Citizen have gathered attention after it was announced that the voices of big stars will be included in the game. Some of the voice actors are legit Hollywood stars.
PC Gamer listed the names of the stars who will have a role in the game. These include Gary Oldman, John Rhys-Davies, Gillian Anderson, and Mark Hamill. Mark was said to reminisce about the past when he knew the twist of the story that Vader was indeed Luke's father. In Star Citizen's Squadron 42, Hamill portrays the role of Lt. Commander Steve 'Old Man' Colton in a single-player module. He will reunite with Wing Commander founder Chris Roberts.
Hamill may be away from Star Wars days for quite some time now, but Game Ranx noted that the actor was once an old Chris Roberts favorite that the new Star Citizen fans may not even remember. Mark played the role of Christopher "Maverick" Blair in the live action of the space flight series. The Star Citizen Alpha 2.0 is now live on the PTU.
Mark Hamill's character was also seen in a trailer posted on Youtube. Similar with Luke Skywalker, Mark's character is seen climbing right into a fighter. The star is also known to have accomplished some voice chores in the past such as his "Joker" performance in "Batman: The Animated Series."
In another report from Cross Map, the joystick developed by Mad Catz seems neat and expected to delight many big fans of the space action genre. Although an official illustration of the controller is not yet released, players can be sure that the initial drafts of the controller will be released this Christmas or during early part of next year.
The voice actors on the game seem to fit what the fans had in mind. The decision to include the said cast on Star Citizen's Squadron 42 excited many gamers.
