Electronic Arts and Maxis' life simulation video game, Sims 4, is scheduled to release its Get Together expansion pack on December 8 which reveals a European style setting for the Sims to live in and mingle with. The pack introduces, Windenburg, a new world which is described as "nothing you've ever seen before." Furthermore, a whole new social experience was added to the game as a player can now join or create one's own social group.
The developers promised that there are a lot of things to watch out for, including new things to do and places to see. Three new special venues, two new venue types and improvements, night clubs, and bars are all included in the anticipated DLC. International Business Times revealed some of the features which would be included in the expansion pack. These updates include The Von Haunt Estate, The Bluffs, The Ancient Ruins, The Café Venue, the Community Pool Venue, and the Nightclub and Bar Changes.
On the other hand, Day Herald reveals that the European themed location is filled with various activities located in the new sites as well as the venues. There will also be historic and enchanted garden properties which were preserved as a tourist attraction and as a museum. Furthermore, there is also a hedge maze where Sims might even encounter ghosts of its former owners. One can also escape from urban disturbance to a secluded island, The Bluffs, which also turned out to be home of Windenburg's legendary sea monster.
In addition, Sims may also be able to create or join clubs. Like-minded Sims may engage in organizational matters as they get together. According to Lazy Gamer, the new expansion pack will allow a player to create or join social groups or clubs. Club possibilities also seem to be limitless as one may start a club of food enthusiasts or body builders. One may even start a romantic club. One gets to name one's own club and players can choose the club members' attire.
With over 100 activities to choose from, one would witness a completely new social experience with Maxis and Electronic Arts' Sims 4 Get Together Expansion Pack. The European themed DLC is scheduled for release on December 8 for PC.
