Square Enix has recently announced its latest updates on the action role playing video game, Final Fantasy 15. The latest installment of the Final Fantasy franchise reveal the new combat systems, magic attacks, DLC summons, and the possibility of Stella's return. In addition, it was hinted that another game demo might surface soon.

New game play details reveal incorporation of a system which shall work similarly with the Gambit system used in Final Fantasy 12. Prasertvithyakarn Prasert, Final Fantasy 15's lead Game Designer and AI Programmer said that the system's style features will allow players to decide on what combat style would Noctis and his friends shall employ during battles, as well as how character stats level up. Yibada further revealed that Monster climbing features shall enable players to attack any body part of the enemies. Furthermore, the game shall also feature Magic, which was divided into two categories: natural abilities, and the use of magic rings. Natural abilities shall be wielded by Noctis, as he is a member of the royal Lucis family. On the other hand, characters such as Prompto, Gladiolus, and Ignis shall each wear a magic ring in order to cast fire, ice, protection, ensuna, and many others. Additional summons shall also be included to the update as Gilgamesh is reported to be included in the game. Game Director Hajime Tabata also hinted that they may bring back Stella, the game's original female lead character as he explained that they have plans for the character and that she needed to be handled delicately.

On the other hand, VG 24/7 revealed that another demo of the game could possibly come out after the Episode Duscae which was released this year and was patched to v2.0. Tabata hinted that fans could be looking another demo. However, it remains unclear if such demo may reveal another area or if it will merely be like a pre-release demo.

Furthermore, a rumor regarding the demo is surfacing as Twitter user by the name of ZhugeEX claimed that a new Final Fantasy 15 is in progress, Twinfinite reported. The post further claimed that the information is from director Tabata himself, as he commented: "Hajime Tabata said in Shanghai today that a new demo is being produced, there is possible plan for free dlc & there is no plan for FF15-2." Apparently, it was hinted that an "airship thingy" may just be included in the upcoming DLC.

Square Enix' action role playing game, Final Fantasy 15, along with the new updates, is scheduled to launch sometime in the year 2016 for PS4 and Xbox One platforms.
