Rainbow Six Siege Microtransactions is considered one of the major problems concerning the launch of the game. While the gameplay is loved by fans, its microtransactions could be a stumbling block for Tom Clancy's game.

Ubisoft have already mentioned the different ways where players could earn Renown on the game. Renown can be gained during kills, assists, matches, completing daily challenges, and playing in ranked matches. However, users could lose Renown for killing a teammate.

Players may buy R6 Credit via real money. One pack containing 600 R6 Credits will cost $4.99 and will allow players to buy content even without Renown. Users can also obtain Renown Boosters.

Unlocking Operators or classes with unique skills and weapons requires 500 Renown or $4.99. Onen the first Operator is unlocked, additional Operators will cost extra 500. The second Operator will be 1,000 Renown, the third Operator 1,500 Renown, and the fourth costs 2,000 Renown. There are 200 available Operators waiting to be unlocked in the game.

IB Times also noted that Ubisoft will launch additional Operators, game modes, and maps in 2016. The said Operators will cost 25,000 Renown or a gameplay of 25 hours.

Microtransactions may be seen as a weakness of the game, but IGN believe that the gameplay experience on Rainbow Six Siege is fantastic. The report also gave special attention to Rainbow Six's audio where the sound made by each player is the only soundtrack to be heard on each map.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege is published by Ubisoft and was announced publicly on June 9, 2014 at E3. This first-person shooter video game puts emphasis on co-operation among players and environmental destruction. Players of the game will take control of a counter-terrorist unit from the Rainbow team.

Many fans have the impression that the game is almost perfect. However, some players of Rainbow Six Siege can't help but notice the difficulty in microtransactions of the game.
