Chris Pratt's character Jim Preston may have ill-luck aboard a spaceship as hinted by a new image posted on his personal Instagram page. According to HitFix, the actor uploaded what looked to be a prosthetic head covered in needles. It was captioned, "This is a creepy mold of my head. It is used on passengers to affix prosthetic pieces to and to stick pins I to apparently. I don't really know. It was suggested that Jim may suffer some kind of catastrophe should the photograph be any indication of a twist of events. It may be that the film isn't just a simple science-fiction romance story.
Meanwhile, Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence revealed her strange experience filming her "first real sex scene" with co-star Pratt for their upcoming science-fiction film together. During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter during its annual Actress Roundtable, the 25-year old actress admitted that it was "bizarre" and "weird" despite being done right.
Lawrence admitted that to prepare for the scene, she got drunk. She added, "But then that led to more anxiety when I got home because I was like, "What have I done? I don't know." And he was married. And it was going to be my first time kissing a married man, and guilt is the worst feeling in your stomach. And I knew it was my job, but I couldn't tell my stomach that... That was the most vulnerable I've ever been."
Pratt is married to actress Anna Faris. The two met on the set of the 2007 film 'Take Me Home Tonight' and soon got engaged on 2008. They eventually took their marriage vows in Bali, Indonesia in 2009.
According to the Independent, Lawrence and Pratt will portray fictional lovers Jim and Aurora in the upcoming 'Passengers' film. The science-fiction romance film centers on a man awakened several decades later in a spacecraft used to transport people to distant colonies. He decides to wake a second passenger to avoid growing old and facing death alone.
'Passengers' is an upcoming science-fiction romance film scheduled to premiere on December 21, 2016. Morten Tyldum is directing the film based on the script by Jon Spaihts. It stars Lawrence, Pratt, Michael Sheen and Laurence Fishburne.
