What a sweet and modern way to announce their engagement. Comedian Jordan Peele publicized in Twitter over Thanksgiving period that he's ready to take his relationship with "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" Chelsea Peretti to the next level. With only one emoji and tagging @chelseaperetti, fans and friends are now expecting a new celebrity couple engagement.
Fortunately for Peele his longtime girlfriend is as ready as him to take their relationship forward. Peretti later twitted a message saying, "My fiancé (lololol) @JordanPeele proposed to me last night during the family talent show lolol".
According to US Weekly, the couple who have been dating for around two years are ready to tie the knot and apart from fans, celebrity friends also took to Twitter to wish the two a happy marriage. Mindy Kaling, T-Pain, Tatum O'Neal, Andy Milonakis, Seth Green, Henry Winkler and Sandra Bernhard were among those who gave their best wishes to the couple. Of course the "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" Twitter account also congratulated their beloved "Gina Linetti."
The 37-year-old comedian and her 36-year-old fiancé should really invite Twitter's founders to their wedding. Their romance which is now heading to marriage purportedly began in Twitter too, as noted by Entertainment Weekly. Peretti, who like other celebrities, is an avid social media user and recounted that Peele first got in contact with her through Twitter, complimenting her Web series. And that's how the two star comedians ignited their romance.
Everyone is now anticipating not only the couple's progress in their love life but also their individual careers. Peretti continues to bring out laughs as "Gina Linetti" in the third season of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine." Meanwhile, Jordan Peele who recently ended his hit Comedy Central series "Key & Peele" with comedian partner Keegan-Michael Key have his fans expecting where he brings his comedy career from this point.
