Better Call Saul Season 2 is set to premiere next year. The "Breaking Bad" spinoff has released a new trailer recently and it shows how Jimmy McGill became Saul. Meanwhile, the series will now be shown in both AMC and in Netflix.
According to Master Herald, the series will have its season 2 episodes streamed on Netflix beginning on February 16, 2016 right after its season premiere on AMC. Instead of featuring the whole season 2 in one sitting, which is typical for other TV series in Netflix, the streaming service will stream only one episode per week.
AMC ordered 13 episodes for season 2. However, the second season will have a total of 10 episodes, same as season 1 as decided by the producers of the popular TV series. Peter Gould, co-creator of Better Call Saul, said that the upcoming 'Better Call Saul Season 2' will compose of "10 big, big episodes", according to Crossmap.
Both Bob Odenkirk (Saul Goodman) and Jonathan Banks (Mike Ehrmantraut) are going to reprise their roles in 'Better Call Saul Season 2' will be joined by other actors like; Michael McKean (Chuck McGill) and Rhea Seehorn (Kim Wexler).
Meanwhile, there was not much seen on the new video trailer released this month as it showed some scenes from season 1 before wrapping up a shot of Jimmy McGill in the final seconds. According to the same post in Master Herald, it remains unclear what the showrunner and the producers wanted to deliver to the viewers, but it is likely a foreboding that the lover of good and right in Jimmy will start turning into a whole new different person in Season 2.
The critically acclaimed TV series will start airing on February 15, 2016 and will go up against the Grammy Awards that will be aired on CBS according to Variety, as cited in Realty Today. It is currently the second highest-rated first season of any show in the history of cable TV.
Better Call Saul will also be shown on Netflix on February 16, 2016.
