Bethesda's DOOM Promises Improvements for Reboot; Launch Window Within 2016

Bethesda's DOOM may be up to something as the days go by, especially now that the Closed Alpha showed more details on the title. Fans may expect that the title is considerably a continuity, the development team seemingly has something else in mind for this particular expansion.

As past reports stated, DOOM is originally entitled Doom 4, and after a few decisions have come forth, Bethesda decided to convert the fourth installment to a more aptly named DOOM. Following the third installment in the series of gut spills and flying bullets, Bethesda has spoken out on what fans are to expect from the upcoming expansions.

Delivered by Game Reactor, the Closed Alpha event showcased some of the most remarkable feats ever seen from the series. As many may already know, DOOM and its predecessors have made it a habit to treat fans on flesh-ripping and bone-crushing action. Fortunately, that has not changed for the longest time, but now, Bethesda promises that the forthcoming title will provide a more realistic approach in terms of in-game physics, lifespan, as well as the man-and-beast battle mechanics.

Moreover, as delivered by Examiner, gamers are now given another advantage against the hellish creatures-being equipped with the ability to morph into a demon for an allotted period, giving them more than firepower to survive. As DOOM is inclined to its roots of being a multiplayer title, others guess that this will be a means of appointing the game with an even playing ground for the humans, setting aside the fact that they are also equipped with such devastating weaponry.

Bethesda had its hands full with such high-caliber projects, such as the recently launched Fallout 4, which many may agree as one of the most decorated titles of the year. DOOM, being a reboot, has a lot of expectations behind it, and is looked at to deliver more than just blood and gun powder but also a storm of enjoyment that gamers have always been excited over. No release date was disclosed for the title but is expected to hit the stores within 2016.
