Reality star Kim Kardashian has taken to her website/app to update her fans on her current pregnancy status. Just a week after announcing her baby boy was in a breech position, the 35-year-old has confirmed he has now turned and is all set for a normal delivery. However, the famous celebrity still has several other issues which could possibly cause a C-section, and the procedure of getting Kanye West's Jr. to turn was 'extremely painful.'
According to a report from US Magazine, on December 1, Tuesday, Kim Kardashian took to her website/app to update her followers on her pregnancy situation. Titled "Baby West Update: All Turned Around!" Kim explained a procedure she went through in order to get her son in the right position for a normal delivery.
In her blog, the soon-to-be mother of two described a certain ECV procedure she had done over the weekend. Apparently, the treatment she had wasn't pleasant as Kim stated, "This weekend, I checked into the hospital and underwent a procedure called an external cephalic version (ECV), which is done to manually turn the baby from a breech position to a head-down position," she said. "They don't give you any pain medication, and let me tell you: This was soooooo painful. Probably more painful than childbirth. BUT it worked!!!" as reported by the International Business Times.
Another report from Celebrity Babies People says husband Kanye West and her sisters were with her during her hospital appointment, and Kim is now feeling more relaxed with the chances of having a c-section lessened. However, though the baby may now be in the right position, Kim is still ill with the flu and a sinus infection. Apparently, her older sister Kourtney Kardashian is looking after baby North for two days so Kim can catch up on some proper rest and prepare herself for the upcoming birth of her child.
With Kim Kardashian's due date just days away, baby number two can be expected anytime soon. The famous celebrity has already hit the 37-week mark and is currently focusing on getting herself better before she has to go through the much-awaited childbirth for the second time.
