Red Dead Redemption 2 Possible Setting in Japan or The East; New Rockstar Title A Prequel?

By

The controversial Red Dead Redemption 2-or at least the idea of it, has become such a viral feat for Rockstar Games and to the avid followers of the franchise. Many have interpreted the simplest signs, to the most probable attributes as hints that lead to the possible announcement of the said title. Sad to say, however, that not much of these bits and pieces have divulged actual results or confirmation.

As reported by I Digital Times, Rockstar Games' Red Dead Redemption has undoubtedly set the standard for the Wild West genre for future games that are to precede it-including its own. That being said, Rockstar Games has not created anything after it, and many fans may be growing impatient. This has resulted in so much speculations and rumors for the second installment; some of which may be too radical to even consider.

Delivered by Inquisitr, one of the more popular rumors came from a Reddit user that claimed to be once an employee of Rockstar Games, and may be seeking revenge due to some workplace injustice of a sort. In his statements, the title is will aptly be named Red Dead Redemption 2: Legends of the West. There were also some rumors wherein three characters will be the stars of the franchise, a male character named Seth, a female known as Irish, and one neutral character that will be made customizable.

In the same manner, more hunches have ascended around Red Dead Redemption 2 wherein it could well possibly be a prequel to the Red Dead Redemption title, and might even take place in Japan. There are also guesses that the continuity of the title will transpire in the eastern territories of the United States but as of the moment, should still be counted as nothing else but plain rumors.

Things became more peculiar as some fans may have traced the plot of the abovementioned characters, being quite synonymous to that of GTA V, and as much as Rockstar Games may have the tendency to repeat their plots, it could simply be an attempt of a fan to get attention, according to Latinos Post.

Many misinterpretations of the fans have led to massive rumors and worse, misquoted facts. One example would be ex-employee of Rockstar Games Daniel Ross' statement during an interview, wherein he was asked what's next for Red Dead Redemption, and vaguely answered, "Really? Dumbass? Really? Two." Fans spelled out his answer with the initials RDR2, perhaps hinting a Red Dead Redemption 2 along the way, but as of the moment, no release date or even the fact of creating it has come forth.
