Just when "God of War 3" was confirmed to be remastered, fans can't help but speculate about what will happen in "God of War 4," if the game indeed becomes a reality. Now, seemingly projecting a sign, a UK retailer has listed the said game on PlayStation 4. Also adding to the hype is the possibility of Kratos, who was rumored to have died, returning to the highly-anticipated installment and will have an epic battle against Norse gods.
Attack Of The Fanboy had some interesting insights about the possibility of "God of War 4" entering the gaming realm. The publication mentioned about a UK retailer putting up a listing for the much-awaited fourth installment on PlayStation 4; hence many believed it as another sign for the game's reveal during the PlayStation Experience event. In addition to that, gamers can already reportedly pre-order the game now for only £44.85 and there's even a free delivery in the UK.
As for Kratos, Christian Post noted that Sony Computer Entertainment's Santa Monica Studio creative director Cory Barlog teased the return of the lead character in his comments on the PlayStation Blog. Fans, however, will see light in the rumored return of the character as soon as Sony's PlayStation Experience (PSX) 2017 kickoffs come December 5 in San Francisco.
Also, reports say that in "God of War 4" Kratos will be up against Norse gods in the likes of Odin, Thor, and Loki, among others. In fact, the said game is not only rumored to feature mythological figures, but as well as a birth to a prequel for the franchise.
There's no doubt that fans are eager to know what "God of War 4" entails. To add to the speculation of the talked-about fourth installment, the logo of the franchise appeared four times in the end when Sony released the official trailer for "God of War 3" remastered version, as reported by Crossmap. Hence many believed that it wasn't an accident, but instead a mere hint that Sony Santa Monica Studio is already working on "God of War 4."
Well, it seems that "God of War 4" fans have something to look forward to these following days. If the game indeed becomes a possibility, the only question remains, however, is if Kratos' return proves to be right.
