‘Scandal’ Star Kerry Washington to Divorce NFL Husband Nnamdi Asomugha?

'Scandal' actress Kerry Washington is in the midst of divorce issues with her NFL player husband Nnamdi Asomugha. The star expressed that the breakup will be official in 2016. As of the moment, the couple is said to be already separated and will push through with their divorce by next year.

Kerry Washington and Nnamdi Asomugha were married in 2013, which apparently was also the year that the NFL player's career fell short. In addition, Nnamdi Asomugha did not seem to have a backup plan regarding his career; and this could be one of the potential reasons of their split. Celebrity Dirty Laundry cited that in 2014, the 'Scandal' star gave birth to a baby girl named Isabelle. And although the couple is relatively quiet about their relationship, several news came out that they are already having marital problems and difficulties.

Kerry Washington was reportedly having a hard time keeping their household afloat since the time her husband, Nnamdi Asomugha's career fell through, Realty Today shared. Moreover, the former football player also thought that his wife has already given up on their marriage. According to various news, the divorce will be finalized by next year, 2016.

In addition, Food World News cited that Kerry Washington is starting to resent her husband which led to her final decision to get a divorce. For her, Nnamdi Asomugha did not even reconsider having plans on how they can keep everything intact for their family and started to be bitter about their situation and this led to the 'Scandal' actress to decide to end their marriage and make it official by next year.

Although there is no official statement yet made by the two, the couple is known to be private about their personal lives. Kerry Washington is still present with her various engagements as the 'Scandal' lead star and is still a hands-on mother to their daughter, Isabelle.
