The second half of the sixth season of "The Walking Dead" is set to air in February and reports say that the show will feature Negan's group called the Saviors. It has also been reported that for the second half, a major character will be killed off.
According to Realty Today, the premiere will be "quite deadly" as deaths will be featured in Season 6 Episode 9. A promo video for the upcoming episode has been released and in it, Negan's men have ambushed Sasha, Daryl, and Abraham. The Saviors demanded to take their truck, weapons, and everything that the own as these now belong to their leader, Negan.
In a recent interview, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, the actor who will play the role of Negan, talked about his character. Fashion & Style shared, "This is such a departure from what especially television viewers have seen of me. I try not to look at characters as if they're sociopaths when I'm playing them. I think they're completely rational human beings! That being said, Negan's got his own motivations."
Morgan also teased that it is possible that Glenn will be killed by Negan as the upcoming episodes will be based from the comic book.
However, Melty shared that after the winter hiatus of "The Walking Dead," the upcoming episodes will be focusing more on Daryl Dixon. The showrunner of the series, Scott Gimple, said that Episode 9 will be full of chaos, terror, heartbreak, heroics, and tragedy adding that fans will be seeing much more of Daryl and that he has made "something different." Robert Kirkman, the show's executive producer, said that so many people will die in the second half premiere.
The premiere episode for the second half of "The Walking Dead" Season 6 will also show the aftermath of the walkers' attack in Alexandria. Cliffhangers such as Maggie being injured and stranded, Deanna dying with the infection, Glenn going back, and how Sasha, Daryl and Abraham will escape their ordeal will be answered in the premiere.
"The Walking Dead" Season 6 Episode 9 "No Way Out" will be airing in February 14, 2016 at 10:00 PM on AMC. Negan and his gang will be introduced and a major character will be killed.
