"Jessica Jones" Season 1 has been receiving positive reviews from nation's leading TV critics while lead actress Krysten Ritter also shared some details on how she prepared for the role. EP Melissa Rosenberg, on the other hand, talks about the possibility of 2nd installment of the superhero series.

According to Gold Derby, "Jessica Jones" Season 1 has been given notice among some of the nation's leading TV critics. These TV critics even gave the superhero series some positive reviews and merits. With that being said, "Jessica Jones" star Krysten Ritter placed 7th on the TV drama actress chart at the Critics' Choice TV Awards.

In addition to that, Ritter shared some details with NZ Herald on how she prepared for the big role. Ritter admitted that she did some research in the Marvel comics and learned how dark and gritty her character is. The 33-year-old American actress also admitted that the fun part for her is that she is a part of the Marvel world now.

Elsewhere, executive producer Melissa Rosenberg talks on the possibilites about "Jessica Jones" upcoming season. Rosenberg told Variety, "I'd love that. Me, personally -- I'm ready to go... Marvel has a lot going on. So does Netflix. So I don't know if a 2nd season fits into this schedule, when, whether or not we'll get 1. I don't know any of that. I personally, I'm ready to jump in now. I've had some time off. I needed some time off! It was a really hard run.

We're always mining that series as much as we can. It's just great story telling. So were not idiots, were not going to ignore great story telling. Grab it, use it, and claim it then call it a homage."

As of now, no official scheduled launch for "Jessica Jones" Season 2 has been announced yet. "Jessica Jones" or Jessica Campbell Jones Cage is a fictional superhero in Marvel Comics.
