The Walking Dead's equally successful spin-off Fear the Walking Dead proceeded with filming for the second season on the peninsula of Mexico. The next new season will comprise of 15 episodes and will take up the story from Season 1, AMC Official Blog announced.
Survivors Madison Clark (Kim Dickens), Travis Manawa (Cliff Curtis), Nick Clark (Frank Dillane), and Alicia Clark (Alycia Debnam-Carey) embark on Victor Strand's (Colman Domingo) yacht Abigail on sail for safer location.
Den of Geek released the video of Fear the Walking Dead Season 2 teaser with the cast and crew sharing on what to see next season. Lives of the several characters prior to the zombie outbreak will be explored next season but will dig more on Madison. Kim Dickens' character will reveal dark secrets that make up her survivor side during the outbreak.
Apart from the exciting return of Fear the Walking Dead, Cinema Blend recently published a series arch over with The Walking Dead is likely to occur in Season 2. Kim Dickens teased that despite the time and location disparities, it is still possible it is only up to the writers' decision. A viable arc for the crossover is Fear crew meeting with the Morales family of The Walking Dead.
If recalled, the Morales family set off for a relative search and rescue in Atlanta in Season 1 of The Walking Dead. Fear of Walking Dead's timeline aligns with The Walking Dead's first season. However, an official announcement has yet to be made by the producers and network regarding the crossover.
There are no official announcement yet on the premiere date of Fear the Walking Dead Season 2 but sources say AMC plans to have the series release close to The Walking Dead's Season 7 debut. Viewers can wait until June 2016 for Fear the Walking Dead.
