The parody of the movie Back to the Future, Rick and Morty has been extended for another season by Adult Swim which was announced earlier this year. The three arrived in a dog world where dogs can talk while humans are kept as pets. The site teased that Season 3 may see the duo travel to Dog World. Rick and Morty's iconic theme song originated from the Dog World.

As for the Rick and Morty Christmas Special, Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon is scheduled to show a spontaneous episode of Rick and Morty Live! in Cinefamily on 11 December 2015, 7:30 pm in Los Angeles.

Rick and Morty Season 3 started the production last October but viewers have to wait a year and a half longer. Rick and Morty Season 3 is set to air on 5 March 2017.
