Overwatch Second Closed Beta Slated Jan. 2016; Blizzard Working Harder on New Title

By

As Overwatch is quickly making waves all throughout the first-person shooter world, gamers are eager to have their hands on the title the soonest possible time. Though the closed beta on PC recently ended, fans of Blizzard Entertainment are all a good go to have more of the game in the near future.

Delivered by Paste Magazine, Overwatch has shown immense promise for the past number of months since it was announced, showcasing each of the players' capabilities and what they bring to the table. Since the Overwatch closed beta switched off last December 10th at 9AM PST, the chance that Blizzard Entertainment gave the fans to simply experience the initial status of the game makes a rather adequate assessment for Blizzard to base their studies on.

It was reported by Game Spot that through nearly 900,000 games that was played recently, Blizzard has sufficiently been supplied with the raw data and fan feedback that gave ideas on where to go from where they stand. Blizzard said, "This phase of development has been key, but now it's time to analyze the data we have, dig into your feedback even further, and put that knowledge to use as best we can."

That being said, according to Forbes, Blizzard has seen that fans are already eager to get their hands on the said title at their most convenient. That being said, Blizzard has declared that in order to keep the fans interested on the particular game, the heroes and maps that are to be added to the franchise will be given for free, not as the usual downloadable contents that require purchase. The particular approach is considered to be most ideal, given that a multitude of the generation's games do such.

Overwatch's closed beta is scheduled to start once more by mid to late January in which those who have participated in the previous will still be able to access such. Blizzard also aims to add more people to the said beta, as per Blizzard.
