Being the cousin of Superman might be a good thing but there are other sides of it that Kara (Supergirl) could not set aside. For one thing, her skirmish with her aunt would be displayed in the upcoming scenes of 'Supergirl' season 1, episode 8.
A promotional video trailer for 'Supergirl' lately showed in You Tube titled "Hostile Takeover," reveals the struggles of Kara(Melissa Benoist) against her wicked aunt Astra (Laura Benanti). Moreover, her aunt will try to convince Kara that everything she believed in was false and that everything she though she knew about her family specially her mother are all fake and untrue.
Besides, for those that were not in tuned with the previous series, the preceding scenes of 'Supergirl' reveals Kara's mind and what she had always thought of. Kara thinks that her own mother is a good person that values integrity and justice and fairness and also she herself knew that it was her own mother that exiled her aunt to Fort Rozz.
Also, based on the recent post from the The Latin Post, even though Kara was having personal conflicts, it is not the end of it. In the real world, Kara needs to settle her relationships and maintain peace in her public life. Showrunners have exposed that the impending episodes of "Supergirl" would bring a lot of twist and turns in its plotlines.
It looks as if more uncertainties await the forthcoming season for 'Supergirl.' It is a never ending battle for Kara against her own family, against her own beliefs and even in maintaining the life of a mere office worker. Also, Kara needs to overcome the nasty mind of her aunt as well as even helping her boss keep her life in tuned, reports Comic Book.
Not only that, the upcoming episode 8 of 'Supergirl' also confirmed that it would be its winter finale taking on a full winter hiatus. Also, it was confirmed that after the winter hiatus, 12 more episodes would follow.
The fans and followers would not have to wait long as the upcoming episode 8 of 'Supergirl' will air on Monday Dec. 14 on CBS.
