GTA 5 Online New Expansive Update Out Today, Dec. 15; Super Yacht, Extraction Adversary Mode and More Available

Rockstar Games has its way to please its avid GTA 5 Online fans with an expansive new update set to launch today, December 15, on PS4, Xbox One, and PC just in time for the Holidays.

Called Executives and Other Criminals, this latest update offers rewards for the GTA Online multiplayer mode with lots of goodies in store to celebrate the spirit of giving, as announced via Rockstar Games official website. Players can become VIPs, design their own crime rings and access new gameplay modes, challenge, vehicles, weapons and other items.

For gamers who love to have luxurious vehicle, the new fully-staffed and upgradable Super Yacht is quite a much better treat to come with the new update. Another exciting add-on to look forward to for players is the all-new Extraction Adversary Mode which shall allow Bodyguards to team up so as to locate and extract an Executive, Latino Post reports.

As for the Freemode, VIPs can play new co-op jobs, challenges and get their hands on the special abilities. Also, they can enlist other GTA players to become their Bodyguards. Players who opt to become Bodyguards will be paid with a salary plus some special benefits by being part of a VIP's crime organization.

The game developer on its page explained, "Organizations can go head to head in Freemode, with new missions that make full use of the latest executive defense options including new armored vehicle variants, the devastating Turreted Limo and the missile defense systems of the Super Yacht, which also comes with its own suite of supporting vehicle upgrades including the new SuperVolito Carbon helicopter and personal watercraft."

Unfortunately, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 users won't be able to avail of this latest update as it will run on the current gen PS4 and Xbox One.As announced earlier, the new upgrades won't work on the last gen consoles due to memory constraints, as stated in a report from Mashable a couple of months back.
