Sony will be launching its newest flagship handset, the Xperia Z6, early next year. It is believed that the company is set to unveil it either in January or February 2016, alongside its five variants.
The Japanese multinational conglomerate corporation is now gearing up for the release of its latest Sony Xperia Z6. A lot of speculations about the release date, availability, features, and specifications of this handset have already surfaced online. However, the company has not confirmed anything about it yet.
Rumor has it that Sony might unleash its Xperia Z6 before the Consumer Technology Association event in Las Vegas on January 6, 2016. Other speculation would be on February 22 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Nonetheless, there are also reports claiming that the company might hold its own event to introduce the Z6.
As previously reported by VC Post, although the Xperia Z5 was just recently released too, Sony is still in preparation to announce the Z6 by early next year. The Xperia Z6 is believed to include five devices to its lineup, namely Xperia Z6 Mini, Xperia Z6 Plus, Xperia Z6 Compact, Xperia Z6 Ultra, and the Xperia Z6.
As for the display sizes of the forthcoming Z6 lineup, they range from 4 to 6.4 inches. They will be also be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, except for the Z6 Mini which is believed to be run by Snapdragon 620 chipset instead.
Moreover, a Force Touch technology is considered to be incorporated in the Sony Xperia Z6. The devices will all be waterproof and dust-resistant as well. In terms of retail pricing, the handset is expected to be valued at $800, depending on the features and hardware included in the device.
Overall, everyone should simply wait for the official announcement of Sony in the coming days. Definitely, the company will let all Sony users and spectators know about the release of the upcoming Sony Xperia Z6 next year.
