Few weeks before the release of Heavensward's Patch 3.1, game developer Square Enix is ready to make Patch 3.15 available for Final Fantasy XIV. The Heavensward gameplay details is also being shared noting that the game is almost finish.
RPG Fan reported that Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward patch 3.15 will be available on December 16, few weeks early than the release of patch 3.1. The recent patch update brings back the relic weapon quest line. The new line of relic weapons is named Anima weapons.
From the preview, as posted by the site, Anima is the result of study by a young researcher from Near East who come to Eorzea. The researcher considers Anima as a reflection of the soul. With the help of Gerolt, the craftsman, they will create a weapon the likes of which the dominion has certainly not seen.
Heavensward involves beating A Realm Reborn campaign and all other five content patches, wrote Reno Gazette Journal. At the end of A Realm Reborn, Heavensward begins its story. The player plays a refugee who must travel to Ishgard to restore peace and order. However, Ishgard may be wonderful on the outside but there are indications of treachery within.
Heavensward bring together multiple new areas such as floating islands and mountains covered with snow thus the introduction of flying mounts, RGJ added. A new race called Au Ra is also featured in the game. Significant to mention are the new jobs - Dark Knight, Machinist and Astrologian.
According to Vine Report, Final Fantasy XIV is on the enhancing phase. According to Satoshi Kitade, the game's programmer, it was said that the game is past its pre-beta stage. While other details are still sufficiently adjusted, Final Fantasy XIV's first half is achieving the quality the game is expected.
Kitade was quoted by the site saying "We have entered the final phase of development now, where the technology and people's feelings and intuition come together, and this is where the programmers can really show their stuff."
"Final Fantasy XIV" is scheduled to be available in 2016. It will be release for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles by Square Enix.
