Following the revelation that "The Hateful Eight" movie will be based on the steps of other films like Gone with the Wind, director Quentin Tarantino sets up a "roadshow". Recently, the studio teased that a big announcement will be thrown out for explosion.
On Sunday, The Hateful Eight shared a post on its official Twitter feed which is believed it has something to do with what the movie director hinted. "The glorious 70mm roadshow is almost here. Stay tuned for a big announcement tomorrow. #TheHatefulEight"
According to the Entertainment Weekly, this was explained by Samuel L. Jackson that the cinematography will take around 65mm to 70mm. It aims to enhance the viewing even awesome. "The film is shot in 65mm and projected in 70, with an image twice the size of what you're used to, which makes your enhanced viewing even doper," he said.
Furthermore, the movie will have a blend of good music which Ennio Morricone has composed with Quentin Tarantino's approval. After the controversy a couple years ago regarding Morricone's intriguing comments on Tarantino's way of adding music on his films, Variety reported that he agreed to compose for him.
Implementation of music on his films is not new for the movie director. An in the upcoming "The Hateful Eight" movie, he assures mood music perfectly selected to fit the distinct scenes in the film. However, he did not comment about the specific moments but he is left responsible for the fitting.
Meanwhile, details were revealed during an interview with the Collider. According to "The Hateful Eight" filmmaker, the movie will be based on the novelized sequel to Django Unchained. Hence, it will be a non-heroic film. Although the studio has not revealed any details about the casting process, the movie will have more mean characters. This means the film will have a glimpse of violence and satisfying scenes.
But this does not mean the movie will be colorless as it was carefully contrived for the demands of the audiences' expectations. "The Hateful Eight" will be out in 70mm on December 25 and a worldwide release on January 8, 2016.
