While Warner Bros plans to get back on track in the following years, the studio assures the "Suicide Squad" movie will be a hit once it's released. Ike Barinholtz revealed some details about the upcoming movie franchise.
During The Howard Stern Show, Barinholtz hinted some behind the scene details while they are filming for the "Suicide Squad". From Will Smith's generous deed spending money for the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight, Jaredo Leto's Joker-like presents, to Margot Robbie's failed tattoo design for a cast member, Comic Book noted that Leto's character is romantically interested with Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn.
Some movies do not need to spend hundreds of millions for a movie. On the other hand, there are movies actually spend that much. According to Barinholtz, the budget for the whole movie was worth about $250 million as per Batman News. The studio has kept the details concealed but this revelation may mean they put so much effort for this project.
Although the actor guessed in a show, no major details were revealed from him. A producer has emailed him before the interview threatening to never talk about any information about the movie. "If you say anything, you're dead," he teased.
Meanwhile, The Movie Network reported that the next movie trailer will be released anytime soon. According to the British Board of Film Classification, the trailer may take a length of two minutes and 59 seconds shorter than the first trailer. The first trailer has leaked after the Comic Con.
While Jared Leto is playing Joker, Margot Robbie will be Harley Quinn and Will Smith is taking Deadshot, Barinhalotz's character is rumored to be playing a SWAT team member. Unlike the usual superhero films, Suicide Squad is a movie about villains fighting against another villain.
Warner Bros will be releasing the movie on August 5, 2016. Would the "Suicide Squad" budget be worth the movie itself? Are you going to see the movie next year?
