‘Transformers 5’ Update: Actor Mark Wahlberg confirms comeback while Director Michael Bay still unsure; New characters revealed

The lead role of "Transformers: Age of Extinction", Mark Wahlberg, has confirmed his comeback in the fifth film of "Transformers". While the return of director Michael Bay is still uncertain, insiders say he will likely be back too because of Mark Wahlberg. Though the director is not confirmed yet, new characters were revealed to be in the new movie.

Earlier this year, the director conveyed his choice to opt out of the movie. As reported by Australianetworknews, Wahlberg's confirmation might affect Bay's decision to whether continue directing the movie franchise or not.

Meanwhile, together with Wahlberg's confirmation, other characters will be revealed in the new movie.In fact, Thebitbag disclose to the public that the new characters will be a mix of both Autobots and Decepticons. They are Blitzwing, Scourge, Cyclonus, Override and Red Alert.

It was also reported that the movie will have two plot lines. Thebitbag said the main plot will be about the fight between the threat to Earth of new Deception versus Cade Yeager, Mark Wahlberg's character, together with Autobots and Dinobots. The sub plot will be about the voyage of Optimus Prime and his finding of his originators and his whole race. Then at the end, both story lines will interconnect. Thebitbag added it might be the last "Transformer" movie because of the two storylines in the movie. Thye said most movies with this type of plots are the last ones of a franchise.

According to what Christian Post reported, there are rumors surfacing that there might be a crossover between "Transformers" and "G.I. Joe". The much anticipated crossover between the two highly successful franchise films might happen. Bruce Willis and Dwayne Johnson might star in the said movie. Another rumor is that Megan Fox might return too.

There is only one thing is for sure, Paramount wants "Transformers" to appear on cinemas in summer of the year 2017. For the fans of this movie, you'll just have to wait for more confirmations from them.
