ABC has just released an official statement that "Agent Carter" Season 2 air date is going to be delayed for 2 weeks due to President Obama's speech. Chad Michael Murray also talked about what his character Agent Jack Thompson is going to do in the upcoming season, plus what happens in the premiere episode has been revealed.
ABC just released an official statement to inform fans and viewers alike that "Agent Carter" Season 2 will not be able to air its 1st episode in its scheduled launch. According to TV, the Marvel series will be delayed since the network will be televising President Barack Obama's State of the Union Address.
President Obama's speech is set to air on January 12, 2016 but instead of airing the upcoming season of Marvel's "Agent Carter", ABC decided to delay its air date for 2 weeks. The decision was made since the network wanted to release the series on air uninterrupted.
Elsewhere, Chad Michael Murray discussed with TV Guide about what fans should expect from his character Agent Jack Thompson in the 2nd season. Murray stated, "He's got to take the reins and become the man he's ultimately going to be. He's got control over what Carter's going to do, where she's going to be. He's in charge of Sousa. He's in charge of the SSR. I think were going to see some classic Thompson. But we'll also get to peek behind some curtains and see a bit more."
As for the premiere episode of "Agent Carter" Season 2, TV Series Finale reports that the forthcoming installment will continue the storyline of Agent Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) in post World War II in United States. The agent will be leaving the Big Apple to work on her most dangerous task set in Los Angeles.
"Agent Carter" Season 2 was initially scheduled to launch on January 5, 2016. However, the network decided to move the official premiere date on January 19, 2016 at 9:00 p.m. exclusively on ABC.
