Steadily, Scalebound is one title that has been awaited on by fans for quite a time now. Platinum Games has certainly made the game a strong contender for other games of the probable same genre, and with it, the team behind it wonders what else fans would love to see in the near future-whether an expansion or a spin-off, which may be as equally awesome as the aforementioned.
As previous reports stated, the man-and-beast title known as Scalebound has already started to make an impact even before its official appearance and emergence to the world. That being said, the expectations have raised themselves on their own-especially with such a promising concept for a massive multiplayer role-playing game.
Typically, Scalebound showcases the lead character named Drew and his adventures as he treks on the most interesting adventures with his dragon Thuban, within the world of Draconis. One of the most admirable traits of the title would be the co-operative multiplayer mode that enables up to three players to participate.
Gaming Bolt delivered that because of the utter success that the title has in store, fans are cordially being asked by Hideki Kamiya himself, the creator of Scalebound on what else they would want to see in the future, in terms of connection to the base game titles as expansions or even spin-offs. To some of the fans that may not know the accolades of Kamiya, he is the man responsible for games such as Bayonetta, Devil May Cry, Okami, God Hand, The Wonderful 101 and Viewtiful Joe.
In an alternate irony, as per Game Pur, however, none of the games stated above were in anyway fully owned by Kamiya in the aspect of rights. This has stirred slight confusion to the fans, as some of the titles he indeed made are owned by Capcom which he was noted to have severed connections with and therefore leading to the spawning of Platinum Games.
Scalebound was rumored to hit the shelves by the last quarter of 2016. Further news may still surface regarding the title, and fans can take all the time they need to know more about the upcoming role-playing game by Platinum Games.
