Dwayne Johnson and his family are currently celebrating the birth of a new member of their household. Last Wednesday, the "San Andreas" actor welcomed a new baby girl with his girlfriend, Lauren Hashian. While this is their first child together, it is actually the second daughter for the 43-year-old action star and former WWE wrestler.
Johnson is also the dad of 14-year-old, Simone Alexandra Johnson, who he had from a previous marriage with his manager and producing partner, Dani Garcia. The couple met when they were college students at the University of Miami. They got married in 1997, separated in 2007, and had their divorce finalized in 2008. Meanwhile, Johnson met Hashian while he was filming his sports comedy movie "The Game Plan" in 2007. Before having a child together, they have a French Bulldog puppy whom they called, Hobbs.
It was only last month when Johnson announced to the public that they were expecting a daughter. The actor turned to his Instagram to post a fall-themed photo of him hugging Hashian and her baby bump. On the post, the actor laughed off the idea that he and Hobbs were the only men in their household. Despite this, the actor is still grateful for the opportunity to be surrounded by strong women in his life. After this announcement, he opened up about fatherhood on "Oprah's Master Class" and even teared up when he talked about his role in the life of Simone, his daughter.
As of now, Johnson has decided to keep mum about details of the new baby. The public has yet to find out details about their baby girl, such as her name and weight, to be revealed. However, Hashian, posted earlier that she wishes that the baby wouldn't be as well as her father.
Any guesses on what the child's name will be?
