"Nashville" Season 4 had its midseason finale with an episode titled "We've Got Nothing but Love to Prove" where viewers saw the dynamics of the relationships of the show's different couples changing. The highlight of the episode was Deacon's proposal to Rayna while Avery has to decide whether to let Juliette back in his and their daughter's lives. Two othercouples did not survive the winter finale.
"Nashville" showrunner Dee Johnson revealed that when the show returns on March 16, it will be with the wedding of Rayna and Deacon reports Christian Post . In the last episode, Deacon proposed after going through a bout of jealousy over Markus.
"Markus was a little bit of a catalyst too to their concerns, so they said, 'We need to make this a done deal and everybody needs to know and let's finally do what we've been talking about doing,'" Johnson said.
Meanwhile, Juliette who checked herself into rehab earlier in "Nashville" Season 4, gets the chance to be back in her daughter's life. However, Avery might not want to put their divorce on hold especially after he meets a new woman when the series returns. According to Examiner, the woman is a single mother who instantly clicks with Avery during their charming first encounter. It is still unclear however if the initial sparks will lead to something more serious.
Even without the new woman though, Juliette will have a hard time in getting Avery to welcome her back with open arms. First, she has to convince him that she actually got better inrehab. In the "Nashville" Season 4 winter finale, Avery suspected that Juliette was just lying and trying to manipulate people about going to rehab. There are still no reports on when Juliette will get to see Avery again.
Also in the winter "Nashville" Season 4 finale, Caleb and Scarlett broke up so he can go to Seattle where he was offered a hospital head of a department position reports IB Times. Scarlett cannot go so she broke up with him. The doctor got so angry and thought that the reason she won't is because he is too normal for her.
Meanwhile, It turns out that Luke owes the IRS $40 million in back taxes when his business manager embezzled money from him and other clients. The media got wind of his situation and soon he was losing business deals. He got into a fight with Gabriella and they too break up. Colt also shut the door in his face when Luke apologized to him for putting his works before him.
