The undoubtedly triumphant The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has taken for itself not just sales and money, but also the trust of fans that have invested all their efforts and attention to such a successful expansion. Because of that, another downloadable content update is set to graze the public eye, together with a prize of appreciation that only CD Projekt RED can give.

As reported by Twinfinite, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has indeed owned 2015 as its year of pure success and aims to continue doing so. That being said, downloadable contents and updates are definitely part of the story, and as The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's Hearts of Stone has shown that adding more to the game is a perfectly wise idea, fans are looking forward to the next batch of updates, within the aptly named Blood and Wine expansion expected to arrive around first half of 2016.

Delivered by International Business Times, Blood and Wine remains a mystery to the world for now, and many believe that the approach is rather wise for CD Projekt RED. The release date as well for the said downloadable content is uncertain, and it will remain as such until the development team publicizes even a trailer of the said update. For the time being, fans are urged to wait for what CD Projekt RED will throw out.

In other The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt news, as per Movie News Guide, a competition was recently announced for avid fans of The Witcher franchise, wherein they are to create the best possible outfit or element for the game's characters. There will only be one winner for the said competition, and the prestigious prize will be the actual Witcher sword replicated straight from the game.

The contest will transpire until January 5th, wherein participants must be 18 years old and above, and must also be aware of their country's terms of receiving sharp objects via shipment.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's Blood and Wine downloadable content update is yet to receive a release date, although, it is scheduled to launch within the first half of 2016.
