Chris Brown Rejects Keyshia Cole's Request To Collaborate

By

Ever since Chris Brown made a comeback to the music industry, he has continued his streak of success; so much so that he has turned into an in-demand artist. Despite his altercation with the law and domestic abuse past, there's no denying that Brown has become bigger than ever. There have been a number of artists who have long wanted to collaborate with the 26-year-old singer in creating a track together and making it a best-selling single.

Keyshia Cole is just one of the many artists who have expressed interest in working with Brown. Unfortunately for the 34-year-old singer, Brown has turned her down multiple times. Revealed on Twitter, a fan innocently asked Cole if there was someone she was interested in working with for her next album. The singer replied to the tweet saying that "Christ Brown would've been awesome." She then revealed that Brown has kept declining her request. Cole has expressed interest over this four times already.

Because of his rejection, Cole has revealed that she was "done with asking." However, when asked if there was a particular reason why she keeps getting turned down by Brown, Cole explained that he (Brown) wanted her to "try something different." Another fan asked her to elaborate more on what this meant, Cole responded that the "Turn Up The Music" singer wanted her to do something more pop. Despite the fact that he has rejected her request for four times already, Cole does not have any ill feelings toward the musician. As a matter of fact, Cole shares that she was proud of Brown on his maturity as an artist.

Meanwhile, Brown has recently released a new video for his song "Picture Me Rollin." The video stars reality TV star Scott Disick playing the role as Brown's party-animal friend.

Perhaps there's still a chance Cole can work with Brown-- that is, if she does something more pop as he recommended.
