Champion Iron Mines to receive US$11 million from Revenu Quebec

Champion Iron Mines announced that the Revenu Quebec confirmed that the company will receive an advance payment of US$11 million. The payment will be set against the claims of Champion Iron Mines for the refundable tax credit regarding the exploration expenditure that the company acquired for the 2011 and 2012. The total cost of the expenditures for the previous years mentioned reached an estimated US$13,502,212. Champion Iron Mines announced that they are expecting to receive the funding in the next few days.

With offices located in Montreal and Toronto, Champion Iron Mines is focused on the development of significant iron resources in Newfoundland & Labrador and in the provinces of Quebec. Champion Iron Mines controls a 100% interest in Fermont Iron Holdings and a 44% controlling interest in the Attikamagen Iron Project. Both projects are located in Quebec and Labrador.
