This past weekend, the front man of Maroon 5, Adam Levine, proposed to his Victoria's Secret model girlfriend Behati Prinsloo. The 34-year-old singer who recently took the No.1 spot on People with Money's 2013's top 10 highest-paid singers was finally engaged to be married.
Between June 2012 and June 2013, Levine pulled astounding US$75 million earnings. His closest rival in the industry was almost US$40 million behind his lead.
The American singer-songwriter and occasional actor's networth was US$215 million. Levine's wealth was due to investments, extensive property holdings and profitable endorsement contracts. He owned several restaurants in Washington, a football team and recently ventured with his own brand of Vodka. He also tackled the juniors market with his own line of perfume and clothes.
Conversely, Levine's fiancé was a cover girl and model who made appearances in celebrated and luxurious brands in the fashion industry. She walked in Victoria's Secret Fashion Show from 2007 to 2012 and was Victoria's Secret Angel in 2009.
The moneymaking assets of the music and fashion industry made the decision to get married in Los Angeles.
