Johnny Manziel stirs media, again

By

Texas A&M's star quarterback Johnny Manziel faced a barrage of questions during the Southeastern Conference Media Days. ''This is just another day,'' said the 20 year old.

More popularly known as Johnny Football, Manziel was the latest winner of the Heisman Tropy. The Heisman is an annual recognition given to the most outstanding collegiate football player. Sports analysts even went on to call Manziel as "the most powerful man in college sports."

During the interview, Manziel did not shy away from the reason why he is on the spotlight. Last weekend, Johnny Football left a high school prospects camp earlier than the agreed time, citing that he "overslept" and that he was not asked to leave.

''The speculation of me being too hung over and that's the reason I missed the meetings is absolutely incorrect,' the football star said in the press conference.

This event is the latest on Manziel's offseason antics, which included absence in classes, Twitter rants, and police misdemeanors.

According to a study conducted by Texas A&M, the team gained a total of US$37 million from Manziel's media exposures. These included news mentions in dailies, print ads, television coverage, and internet searches.
