Windsail Capital invests US$5 million in Compressed Natural Gas

Boston based, venture capital firm, WindSail Capital Group announced that they have invested US$5 million in NG Advatage. Windsail said that they are taking a gamble on compressed natural or CNG. The NG advantage investment expands the WindSail portfolio for clean energy technology. NG advantage delivers compressed natural gas via trucks to New England's energy intensive industries.

"With average savings of 30-40% for major industrial customers and annual emissions reductions equivalent to more than 15,000 cars, we see NG Advantage as providing exceptional economic and environmental benefits to consumers and the region as a whole," said Ian Bowles, a co-founder of WindSail Capital.

"We are now at a turning point of having demonstrated our company's model, value proposition, and the environmental benefits of the services we provide," said Neale Lunderville, Chief Executive Officer of NG Advantage. "Now we have significant additional funds to expand our ability to meet rapidly growing customer demand."
