Apple Inc., the Cupertino based multinational tech company has announced on Wednesday launching of a new browser version, entitling Safari Technology Preview. The new browser program provides developers earlier access to new builds of Safari using upcoming web technologies in OS X, iOS and other developer tools.
The concept allows the developers getting their hands on these technologies for experience more easily. Apple requests for offering quick feedback which will enable the tech giant to perform necessary improvements, reports TechCrunch.
The new software can be run on Macs right beside the regular version of Safari. To experience the Safari Technology Preview, users need to have the latest version of Mac operating system, OS X 10.11.4 or later, according to a report published in VentureBeat.
Apple has been offering Nightly builds of Webkit since long. Webkit, the open source software runs on hundreds of millions of device while powering Apple's Safari. Safari Technology Preview allows accessing these builds more easily.
Updates for the new software will be distributed every two weeks by way of Mac App Store's software update mechanism. The browser version is hassle free featuring the latest advances in web technologies including HTML, JavaScript, CSS and WebKit, reports MacRumors. Moreover, the browser enables developers accessing the latest versions of Web Inspector and Responsive Design Mode.
