Internet executive and Harvard University graduate Kobie Fuller has joined Accel Partners as a Principal. A global venture capital firm, Accel was founded in 1983 and is engaged in the business of helping technology companies succeed.
With more than 10 years of experience in raising money for and growing software companies, Fuller is seen as a strong addition to Accel's investment team. He will be working with John Locke who was also promoted as a Principal. Locke, a Princeton University graduate, has been with Accel since 2009.
In a press release, Accel Partners general partner Ryan Sweeney said that he is excited with Fuller's appointment. "Kobie has a unique operating and investing background that perfectly matches our approach at Accel," Sweeney said. Fuller was one of the founders of OpenView Venture Partners where he was integral in raising committed capital worth more than $240 million. He also served as the Chief Marketing Officer of REVOLVE Clothing for two years.
