Dan Henderson has been appointed as the Investment Director for CIT GAP Funds, according to a recent press release from the Center of Innovative Technology (CIT). Henderson formerly served as the Senior Vice President of Business Development and Strategy of BeClose, a wireless home health firm. His experience also spans web acceleration software, digital media, and IT services.
With an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management, Anderson says he is looking forward to his new role. "I am looking forward to joining the CIT GAP Funds team. CIT GAP Funds has an important role in filling the funding gap for entrepreneurs, which creates significant economic value for Virginia," he says.
Meanwhile, Pete Jobse, the President and CEO of CIT considers his company "fortunate" for having Anderson. "His knowledge and experience will be valuable when CIT GAP Funds is making new investment decisions," Jobse said.
CIT GAP Funds was founded in 2005 and has invested in more than 80 companies in Virginia.
